Dr. Charles F. Trapp, M.D
Charles F. Trapp, M.D, is a Board-Certified Dermatologist, certified and specializing in MOHS Micrographic Surgery and Micrographic Dermatology Surgery, who founded Emerald Coast Dermatology in 1994. A graduate of the University of Connecticut and the Albany Medical College, Dr. Trapp served a general medical internship at the Albany Medical Center Hospital and a dermatology residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Following Air Force assignments at Eglin AFB as a General Medical Officer and MacDill AFB as Staff Dermatologist, Dr. Trapp returned to the Florida Panhandle to start Emerald Coast Dermatology in Crestview.
Dr. Trapp's professional interests include General Dermatology, Dermatologic Surgery including Mohs Micrographic Surgery for skin cancer, and Cosmetic Dermatology. Cosmetic procedures performed include Sclerotherapy for spider veins, Glycolic Acid Chemical Peels, removal of unwanted moles and sunspots, Botox and fillers, and Fraxel laser therapy for skin rejuvenation.
Charles F. Trapp, M.D., is a diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology and a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, The American Society of Mohs Micrographic Surgery, and the Florida Society of Dermatology. Dr. Trapp has been active in teaching dermatology to medical students, physician assistants, and resident physicians and he is an Assistant Professor of both the University of South Alabama College of Allied Health and the University of South Florida School of Medicine.
Dr. Trapp, and his team of professionals, earned the prestigious award of “Finest on the Emerald Coast” for 2022 and again in 2023, for Dermatology and Skin Care. Voted by our patients – an award we take great pride in!
Dr. Kara T. Reardon, M.D
Dr. Reardon graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rollins College in Orlando, Florida, with a B.A in Biology. After graduation, Dr. Reardon attended Georgetown University in Washington D.C where she earned her medical degree and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Immediately following, Dr. Reardon completed a one year Internal Medicine internship at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and prior to joining our practice, Dr. Reardon completed a three year Dermatology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Dr. Reardon brings a wealth of knowledge to Emerald Coast Dermatology, with years of training in the newest technology and treatment plans for all patients, of all ages. Dr. Reardon specializes in general dermatology - including acne, the prevention and diagnosis of skin cancers, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, warts and rosacea.
Perhaps Dr. Reardon's greatest accomplishment is her family. Her husband, Michael, is a veteran of the United States Air Force, and her three children, Noah, Collin and Lauren, are Dr. Reardon's absolute pride and joy.
Dr. Reardon enjoys traveling, spoiling Max and Layla - her fur babies, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Dr. Reardon is excited to provide excellent, focus driven patient care to her hometown and surrounding areas.
Heather Bien, PA-C
Heather Bien hails from Crestview, Florida and attended the University of West Florida where she graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biology in 2000. Directly following, Heather earned her Master of Health Science degree from the University of South Alabama in 2004 .
Heather is happily married to an Air Force Master Sergeant (ret.) and they have a beautiful teenage daughter. She enjoys homemaking, gardening, crafting, flying with her husband, and is an active member of her church.
Heather has been employed with Emerald Coast Dermatology for 24 years and her special interests, within Dermatology, include prevention, diagnosis, and the treatment of skin cancer.
Ashley Wagner, MPAS, PA-C
Ashley Wagner is a NCCPA board certified physician assistant who joined Emerald Coast Dermatology in 2010. She holds a masters degree in physician assistant studies from the University of Alabama Birmingham and a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Northwest Florida.
Ashley specializes in general Dermatology, including skin cancer screening and treatment as well as evaluation and treatment of other skin diseases including rashes, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, eczema and warts.
Ashley is a member of multiple professional organizations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and maintains Diplomate status with the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Ashley specializes in general Dermatology, including skin cancer screening and treatment as well as evaluation and treatment of other skin diseases including rashes, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, eczema and warts.
Dr. Danielle Cady, DNP, DCNP, ACNP-BC, ARNP
Dr. Danielle Cady joined our practice in August 2014, after specializing more than 10 years in medical and cosmetic dermatology.
Danielle completed her clinical Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Chatham University, with honors, and is a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner. Danielle is also Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in Adult Acute Health. She is an Honors graduate of the University of South Alabama where she received both a Bachelor of Nursing Science degree and a Master of Nursing Science degree.
Danielle's special interests include skin cancer prevention, early detection, education and treatment. As a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners and the Dermatology Nurse Practitioners Society, she is actively involved in advancing the profession and promoting patient and community skin health.
Liza Eiriksson, APRN
Liza Eiriksson, a Crestview native, is a Nurse Practitioner who received both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from University of South Alabama.
She also has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Florida State University. Liza is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to joining Emerald Coast Dermatology, Liza worked in Family Medicine and Urgent Care.
When she isn’t caring for patients, Liza enjoys spending time outdoors enjoying the beautiful Gulf Coast, reading, traveling and spending time with her two golden doodles.
Mackenzie Hurst, APRN
Mackenzie, a Panama City native, is a dedicated and compassionate board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated from the University of West Florida. She received both her bachelors, as well as her masters, at this university.
Mackenzie comes from an emergency medical background & looks forward to continued growth as a provider in the dermatology field & is a proud member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
She is happily married to her husband who is a Captain in the Army, and she is a new mother to a sweet baby girl. Her career inspiration come from her dad who served as a physician assistant in Panama City for 30 years. Her mother, older sister, and twin sister have been her biggest cheerleaders in her career & she feels very blessed to have the family support that she does. Most importantly she gives all thanks to God & is an active member in her church.
Mackenzie is looking forward to her career in dermatology & is excited to provide excellent care to her patients.
